Stewardship Goals - Vanderbilt Divinity School
This grant addressed the economic challenges facing our students. The program investigated the effect of indebtedness and how student indebtedness might be reduced through financial literacy programming, theological conversations about money, and educational seminars.
The future of theological education will require talented and passionate leaders. They must have the resources they need to become the very best religious leaders for the communities that need them the most. We believe that by attending to student debt in a proactive manner, we will provide students with both immediate and long term financial planning skills.
Hear from Students
We asked students more about their ideas of money as part of the Money Mindfulness program. We posed two questions to the participants featured in these videos: “What ideas about money shaped how you use money?” and “How has your personal and familial history impacted your relationship with money?”
